| 03/12/2022 | Nick Newton | Joshua Adigun | 6-2 | 6-3 | 0-0 | This match lasted about 2 hours less than our previous one! Compared to that match I played better, whereas Josh couldn't quite find his rhythm. |
| 29/11/2022 | Karl Sloman | Eden Osman | 6-3 | 6-3 | 0-0 | Had never played Eden before and didn't know what to expect, but the first thing I noticed in the warm up was the technique and pace he could hit the ball. He started the set serving, and aced me on the 2nd point on a wide serve, which being a lefty it was well out of reach. I thought this is going to be tough, and I was right. Every game was tough, thankfully my service games were generally un-contested, mainly due to errors on his part. However I could tell that he hadn't played in a while and if he was playing his A game I would probably lose. Both sets went to 3-3 before I managed to break and hold and break again to take the sets. Great game Eden, best of luck with the rest of the season. |
| 23/11/2022 | Shaun Parks | Karl Sloman | 4-6 | 6-3 | 10-7 | An absolutely epic battle that went down to the absolute wire. Karl took the first set after breaking away from an endless cycle of us breaking eachothers serve. I managed to find some momentum in the second set which allowed me to tie things up. Time constraints forced a 10-point tiebreak for the decider and with nothing much to separate us both, I managed to just clinch the victory by making a few less mistakes in the final points. |
| 12/11/2022 | Geoff Newell | Joshua Adigun | 6-4 | 6-4 | 0-0 | Joshua can run anything down and that backhand lob is a killer. Close game. Enjoyed it. Wish I'd got more sleep the night before though :( |
