| 26/10/2024 | Nick Newton | Uchenna Adimonye | 6-7 | 6-2 | 6-2 | Another tough battle with Uche, played over 2 different days as the first set was a marathon of 90 minutes. Thankfully we moved from a night match to a morning match where fogged up glasses weren't as much of a problem. It's only a matter of time before Uche tastes victory.. |
| 25/10/2024 | Abhishek Sharma | Aviral Mittal | 6-7 | 7-5 | 7-6 | I can’t quite remember the last time I actually beat Avi. I was so gutted I couldn’t give him a decent match for our LTL round but this one really had it all. When Avi got 5-2 up in the second set, I was already thinking about dinner but somehow hung in there and clawed my way back. By the last set it was just about who had more stamina and thankfully I pulled through. Awesome match to finish this round for both of us I think! Looking forward to the next time 😁 |
| 25/10/2024 | Jarek Pieta | Francesco Raimondo | 6-4 | 7-5 | 0-0 | Perfect weather conditions tonight helped me getting important win… Bit of drama from both of us.. In first set Francesco came back from 5:2 to 5:4, but I’ve managed to close the set… In set two Francesco was leading 4:1, but I put second gear and run all the way up to close the match 6:4 7:5 Thanks for the match and see you at the next one… |
| 24/10/2024 | Joshua Adigun | Jarek Pieta | 6-1 | 6-1 | 0-0 | Thanks for the match Jarek, we had a lot of games go to deuce which luckily went my way, could have easily gone the other way. All the best with your future games :) |
| 19/10/2024 | Nick Newton | Abhishek Sharma | 6-3 | 7-5 | 0-0 | Good quality first set from both of us. Then I went into a slump and was suddenly 5-1 down in the 2nd set. Luckily for me Abi couldn't get over the line and I managed to claw it back. Fun match! |
| 18/10/2024 | Abhishek Sharma | Jarek Pieta | 6-4 | 7-6 | 0-0 | Always fun to play with Jarek. We both made a lot of mistakes - whether it’s double faults, easy lobs, just so many unforced errors. In the end it just became a match of who makes less errors 😅 |
| 15/10/2024 | Nick Newton | Jack Cleeves | 6-4 | 6-2 | 0-0 | This was one of our best matches for rallies, even though Jack was struggling a bit for grip in the damp conditions. I enjoy the style we both play, and this was my best match in some time! |
| 15/10/2024 | Puranjay Das | Abhishek Sharma | 6-2 | 6-4 | 0-0 | It seems Avi scarred Abhishek yesterday resulting in him playing over cautiously today. The match was closer than the score suggests with lots of games going to deuce. Enjoyable match under wet conditions. |
| 13/10/2024 | Uchenna Adimonye | Joshua Adigun | 5-7 | 6-2 | 6-4 | We started 5pm and left the courts 8:30pm. The 3 and a half hours marathonmatch left both of us thoroughly exhausted and happy to see the end. The Match had everything, cramps, medical time out, a bit of rain. We were lucky we could finish the match. In the 3rd set I came from 2-4 down to close out the game 6-4. All the best Joshua, look forward to our next meeting. |
| 10/10/2024 | Nick Newton | Jarek Pieta | 7-5 | 7-5 | 0-0 | Really close one, I struggled for form and Jarek played good aggressive tennis. I was lucky that mistakes crept in to his game when it came to closing out the sets. Enjoyable contest. |
| 06/10/2024 | Puranjay Das | Francesco Raimondo | 6-3 | 4-6 | 6-2 | Another match with Francesco where the momentum kept switching. Francesco got off to a strong start and led 3-1 in the first set. I won the next 8 games, winning the first set 6-3 in the process and led the second set 3-0 (40-0). Just when I thought I would wrap it up, Francesco turned the tide and won 5 games in a row and then won the set 6-4. I managed to take a 5-1 lead in the third and had two match points. One missed overhead and a strong forehand from Francesco meant I had to serve out the match. Luckily there was no further drama and I won the set 6-2. |
| 02/10/2024 | Uchenna Adimonye | Puranjay Das | 6-2 | 4-6 | 7-5 | I've played a fair few dramatic matches with Puranjay, and tonight's match was no exception. Played in 2 days that spanned over a month apart. First set, I played well and won 6-2. Second set, I carried the momentum into the serving set. However, at 3-nil up, Puranjay changed strategy then came from 3-nil down to win it 4-6. He carried the momentum into the 3rd set and went 0-5 up. I managed to win one game that night before we had to stop because of rain. A month later we continued and I came from 1-5 down to win 7-5 by winning 6 consecutive games. I think we were both surprised with the final score at the end. All the best Puranjay |
| 28/09/2024 | Jack Cleeves | Puranjay Das | 6-1 | 6-2 | 0-0 | Thanks for the match Puranjay! Closer than scores suggests with lots of close points. Cheers |
| 27/09/2024 | Aviral Mittal | Jarek Pieta | 6-7 | 6-4 | 6-2 | Jarek played very well in the first set, then I guess started making more errors in the second. By the third he has no energy left :). |
| 24/09/2024 | Joshua Adigun | Francesco Raimondo | 6-3 | 2-6 | 6-2 | Very close match against Francesco, lasted over 2 hours and had lots of good rallies. The third set was the toughest, the first service game alone had about 8 deuces! Well played and all the best with your remaining matches. |
| 20/09/2024 | Jarek Pieta | Puranjay Das | 6-3 | 6-4 | 0-0 | |
| 18/09/2024 | Uchenna Adimonye | Abhishek Sharma | 6-2 | 6-4 | 0-0 | Always a cracker playing Abhishek, with many good baseline rallies. Decent evening weather made for good hitting as well. All the best in your remaining matches mate. |
| 24/08/2024 | Aviral Mittal | Puranjay Das | 4-6 | 6-1 | 6-1 | worst match played by both of us :). both just dropping the ball on other side, mine dropped in more than his :) |
| 23/08/2024 | Uchenna Adimonye | Aviral Mittal | 6-0 | 6-3 | 0-0 | Always great playing Avi. First set, I played my best tennis - barely made any unforced error and everything was going in. Second set, my level dropped a bit and Avi's improved leading to a much tougher and longer set. All the best in your remaining matches Avi. |
| 21/08/2024 | Uchenna Adimonye | Jack Cleeves | 7-5 | 6-2 | 0-0 | Despite the gusty winds, Jack and I had a cracker of a tennis match, with a dramatic twist. Jack had the opportunity to win the first set when he was 5-3 up, however I managed to win eight games straight thereby winning the first set 7-5 and going up 4-0 in the second set. Some really good baseline rallies and gets. All the best in your remaining matches Jack. |
| 21/08/2024 | Francesco Raimondo | Abhishek Sharma | 6-2 | 6-4 | 0-0 | Almost every shot worked for me tonight, whatever I was trying to do :-) Very good quality from Abhishek, despite the unlucky match. Good luck for the rest of the ladder. |
| 21/08/2024 | Uchenna Adimonye | Jarek Pieta | 7-6 | 6-1 | 0-0 | I've played Jarek several times in the past couple of months, and this was our toughest match in recent times. First set was so tight it could have gone either way. In the tie break Jarek was up 4-2 before I managed to steal the win at 4-7. In the second set, we had a game that had nearly 20 deuces. All the best in your remaining matches Jarek. |
| 14/08/2024 | Puranjay Das | Joshua Adigun | 0-6 | 6-3 | 6-1 | Really hard fought match. The scorecard really does not reflect how close the final set was. The first game alone lasted 20 minutes. Thanks a lot for the match and wish you so the best for your other matches. |
| 13/08/2024 | Uchenna Adimonye | Francesco Raimondo | 7-6 | 6-0 | 0-0 | Tough match. Francesco bolted to a 3-nil lead in the first set. I managed to stop the rot and won some games. Francesco had the opportunity to close out the set at 5-3, but I managed to break and then hold to draw the game, and then take it to tie-break which I won 7-1. In the second set we were both exhausted but I managed to play more aggressively to close it out. Good game Francesco, and all the best in your remaining matches. |
| 11/08/2024 | Joshua Adigun | Aviral Mittal | 6-4 | 7-6 | 0-0 | 10-8 in the tiebreaker. Very tough match against avi, lots of long rallies and good points. All the best with your remaining matches. |
